Amy Mizels brings her passion for family law and an impressive academic background to the esteemed team at John F. Schutz, P.L. Joining the firm in August 2023, Amy is committed to delivering top-notch legal services and advocating for her clients with diligence and expertise.
Ms. Mizels earned her Juris Doctor Degree with Honors from the University of Miami in 2023, showcasing her dedication to academic excellence. Amy honed her skills during college and gained invaluable experience through an internship with the Honorable Stacey Schulman, a distinguished Circuit Court Judge in the 17th Judicial Circuit’s Dependency Division. This early exposure to the judicial system fueled her passion for family law and set the stage for a fulfilling legal career.
Amy continued to pursue her passion for family law during her law school years, where she dedicated her 3L year to the University of Miami Children and Youth Law Clinic. Her commitment to positively impacting the lives of children and families was evident as she undertook summer internships in the marital and family law sector each year, gaining practical insights into the complexities of the field.
A proud Florida native, Amy grew up in Weston, Florida, instilling in her a deep understanding of the local community and its unique legal landscape.
