Ralph T. (RT) White Jr., Partner at Schutz & White, has recently become a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). Mr. White now shares this esteemed accreditation with John F. Schutz, Partner at Schutz & White. With only 79 AAML Fellows in Florida, Mr. White and Mr. Schutz are among 0.02% of family law attorneys in the state with this distinction.

Founded in 1962 by a group of highly regarded domestic relations lawyers, the AAML was established “To provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.”

In order to become a Fellow of the AAML, attorneys must meet strict membership criteria demonstrating active interest and competency in matrimonial law. AAML Fellows are highly skilled negotiators and litigators who represent individuals in all facets of family law and are recognized by both the bench and bar as leading practitioners in the field of family law.

Practice areas of Schutz & White, LLP are strictly limited to: divorce, annulment, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, marital settlement agreements, child custody and visitation, business valuations, property valuations and division, alimony, child support and modifications. Fellows must demonstrate by personal conduct, a professional and ethical commitment to their clients and to society at large in resolving what are often intense, emotional, and complex family problems.

Fellows of the AAML set a standard for the matrimonial bar and have helped improve the quality of family law practice throughout this country for attorneys and litigants alike.
